Our Article at the Writing Cooperative: “Niche Literary Magazines are Dying. Crowdfunding is Saving Them.”

Greetings from the Ether,

Thanks to our wonderful assistant editor Caleb Stephens, and the fine folks at Nightscape Press, Grimscribe Press, the Shadow Booth, and Beyond Death Publishing, we just had an article go live at the Writing Cooperative.

Caleb navigates through the statistics of the publishing business, and how niche genres are suffering. The elixir? Crowdfunding. Stephens sources and quotes several recent successful Kickstarters from various publishers and editors, and puts the hammer down on why we need to support indie publishing.

You can find the article here.

We are in the final week of our Kickstarter, so please make sure to support indie horror and Weird Fiction as we strive to hit our awesome stretch goals. If you needed more evidence as to why this is important, the article is the perfect place to start.
