MarieAnn C. Raguso is from Valhalla, NY. She is a freelance writer and an MFA Student at Manhattanville College. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Anthropology and Sociology and conducted extensive ethnographic fieldwork in death rites. Her fascination with horror began when she was a kid with H.P. Lovecraft and 1960s Gothic Romance novels. Raguso now writes fiction while working her way through her MFA Program. She has been a guest speaker at the “StandUP for Women” [June 2015] and has presented two separate nonfiction pieces at Manhattanville College [April/December 2017]. She is also a veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient.
